My husband, Phil, and I have been married almost 12 years and have five amazing kids. We were both born and raised right here in Southwest Florida. From 2003-2006 I attended college at Texas State University and University of North Florida, pursuing a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.  Our first years of marriage we lived in San Diego, Ca. and proceeded to move around the country, while homeschooling our oldest daughter and discovering every playground in a ten mile radius for her three younger brothers. After living in Virginia, Texas, and California, we are extremely happy to be living back by family here in Southwest Florida. Our kids are all in school now and it's been such a joy to have the time and family support allowing me to follow my passion as a childbirth doula. It's a journey that began very slowly in 2009, helping friends, family, and those in the community who needed a little extra support and encouragement during pregnancy and labor. Then in early 2016 I certified through the Catholic Doula Program. I've additionally completed the DONA training program and certification requirements.  I am currently working as the Client Care Coordinator, a birth assistant, and organize the Doula co-op at the Family Birth Center of Naples. I also conduct the labor rehearsals there.  I've attended over 90 births, the majority here in Southwest Florida.  This is an amazing community in which we live, surrounded by many birthing options: Hospital with an OBGYN, Hospitals with Midwives, Birth center with Midwives, and Homebirth Midwives. I'm here to offer judgement free support, referrals and resources.  If you contact me and I'm unavailable for when you're due, I will happily give you referrals for other highly skilled and nurturing doulas in the area.
